The asymmetrical case is the design of Gilbert Albert, a Swiss jeweler who established his jewelry house and opened his own atelier in 1962.
In 1955, after studying jewelry craftsmanship and design at "L'Ecole des Arts Industriels" in Geneva, He went on to be the designer and head of Patek Philippe's workshop until 1962, during which he coined signature asymmetrical watches for the house. He is the most rewarded Diamonds International Awards jeweler.
This pocket watch from the 4 series is one of approximately 24 pieces produced.
